About Mara

Mara is a heart-centered healer with a large toolbox. Mara graduated from the Massage School of Santa Monica in 1986. Immediately afterwards, she jumped into advanced training, earning her certification in Neuro Muscular Re-Education. Since then, Mara has delved into all aspects of body work from subtle energetics to cranial sacral therapy, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, Rapid neurofascial reset, and more. 

Mara earned her associate's degree from the Southwest Institute of the Healing Arts in body-mind transformational psychology and is a graduate from the Energetic Health Institute with her degree in Holistic Nutrition. Mara has certifications in yoga instruction, Matrix Energetics, Re-Connective Healing, quantum biofeedback, and Frequency Specific Microcurrent.

​Mara's newest passion is in trauma/PTSD recovery work utilizing modalities such as TRE (trauma and tension release exercises), Havening, Freedom Activation, and breathwork.   Mara's thirst for knowledge keeps her busy learning the latest technologies and modalities that help you heal.
